Your newsletters are my favourite, I love your writing so much. Also, I am 41 and terrified about perimenopause too, so you’re not alone!

One great thing about menopause is that after it is done, and you are free from hormone intoxication, you will see relationships with new eyes. So much is based on sexual attraction, when that is mostly gone it is easier to sort out the asshole type people. You lose one thing but gain much discernment. I wouldn’t go back to hormonal blindness for anything. Sexual competition mostly drops away, and friendships become deeper.

Don’t worry about perimenopause. It’s not as bad as they say. You have such a rich perspective you will do fine. Love your writing. I’ve gifted several copies of both of your books to others and they love your writing too.

I get so excited when I get one of your emails. Like all of them, I really enjoyed reading this.....RE: perimenopause, I'm about 30 years ahead of you. What I wish I knew then that I know now is to find and start seeing a good Naturopath NOW! Get your hormones tested and start necessary supplements asap. I had the worst peri-menopause and menopause with 21 years of chronic fatigue caused by hormones that decreased during perimenopause around 43yo, but thanks to my amazing naturopath was cured 5 years ago. Western medicine has nothing to offer women in peri and menopause.
