Hello yes this is the kind of stuff I think about allll daaaaaay.

Also this is literally perfect: "Every time I use single-use plastic, drive my car, buy clothing made with slave labor, use AI, get fast online shipping, or scroll on my phone, I am comforted by the fact that I will, one day, get what I deserve- that this literally can’t go on forever."

I, too, have always loved the fact that nature and animals are alive and well in Chernobyl! I find a lot of comfort in the thought that after we are all gone, nature still will find a way to survive and thrive.

That article about the organelles created for computing dismayed and disgusted me so much. Inhumane, irresponsible, degenerate, exploitive , selfish, Like so many other "advances" There is just no way to make that story alright with anyone. Crimes against humanity, even to the cellular level.

There a study that shows that with the global human reproduction rate at less then 2 - ~1.6? Then in a short 200years + or - the human population is down to 250 million . That’s just simple reproduction math that happens without taking into account war pandemic or climate change . The earth will cope where we won’t. I’ve asked my colleague's - as nothing last forever- will the very last trade on Wall Street be a buy or a sell? You should see the blank looks.

Soo looking forward to reading BETS. I tried to buy two copies but ran into a snag with Kickstarter. They won't let you do two separate orders on the same account. Will you be selling extra books as Add Ons?
